This Men’s Day, a word for every man quietly carrying the weight of being “the provider” and how a simple plan can lighten the load.
He never says it out loud.
He wakes a little before the alarm, and the first thought isn’t the day ahead it’s the numbers. The EMI. The school fees. The ageing parents. The quiet promise, spoken or unspoken, that his family will always be okay.
He carries it to work. He carries it home. He carries it to bed. And when someone asks, “How are you?”, he smiles and says, “All good.”
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. And this Men’s Day, we want to say something too few people say to the men in their lives: it’s okay to talk about it.
